I liked it.
It isn't the first silent film immitation on this site, and it isn't the first 'live-action' film on the site, but the marriage of the two in this case works pretty well. I even liked how the ufo was so shoddily edited onto the shot where the kid was riding away. It felt like a little touch that made the movie more of a 1930s era piece.

Man... I love how a kid can outrun an alien spacecraft on his scooter. Otherwise, a fun little effort with plenty of humor and shlock. Features some very talented acting from a dog.
The music doesn't jive with the screen. You should rerelease this with some kind of chase or semi-eery music rather than the soft jazz.
