The owls face sells the picture to me. I like the style of mixing three dimensional with two dimensional drawing and trying to make that flow well. For the most part I think you pull this off especially with the scarf.
The only criticism I can offer is that the owl's talons don't quite seem like they fit the branch.

Wise owls wear scarves
This is pretty amazing and I love the expression in the eyes. The only thing I don't like is the branch's flat texture since it would look more cohesive with the owl. Great job!

Barn owls are creepy.
