Cable modem will only allow for faster download. The processing is done by the CPU. Most people are reporting lag, so I'm going to try to fix that.

great idea
nice idea for a game, I knoe there's alot to do for a game like this, but I thought that the walk cycles for the cat walking forewards or backwards were dreadful

The walk cycles were pretty decent compared to the ones in the average 2d sprite game (which usually only had two frames). But I can always make them better, just a matter of how much my wrist can hold out before I have to quit.

It was ok
I like the concept of it all but the control panel sucks. Like there where both the thing that you chose your direction and there was the thing you chose what to do (fight, talk etc.) and there was the thing that you had to click the different stuff. Do you see my point?
And what did the dude in the intro have to do all about the story?

Yeah, you're saying that the navigation wasn't very intuitive when you first play. I had a very limited knowledge of programming when I had to create a navigation engine, so I think it turned out pretty good with that in mind. Now that I've learned a lot from the game I can make one much better (and faster).
The Animator created the story, he'll make an appearance at the end.

Wow! this suprised me!
I really enjoyed it! perhaps not as much as KirbyKirbyKirby 2, but I was totally suprised by how much there was in there. Like, the item shop! there was loads of items on sale! I thought the music loops were very clever, and I liked the battles. I chose full strength and power instead of any 'zip' or the other one. So the battles didn't last long! hehe ^.^ I bought a plastic sword in the little shop which turned out to be really cool.

I was kind of hoping you'd write me a review. Yes, all items except the "Mystery Item" (just a gag, but I as actually thinking about making it an actual item) are equipable and usable (some even have multiple uses). Quite a chore to get all those working.
Yeah, the most you can hope for with a high MUSCLE is to hit the enemy with a lot of damage and rely on the extra HPs instead of Dodge.

tooning toon?
There is really no good way to make an RPG like Toon into a fullfledged flash game... You should be commended for your use of the character sheet but all in all, I founf that the game was very linear and I felt very isolated with the lagtime between movements and such...

I don't think the demo is too linear, and the full version will be less linear (a good game will be open without getting the players lost, but won't "railroad" them either).
