There's good. There's awesome. Then there's this.
A really good job in recreating one of the most annoying songs in the whole game (simply for the fact that you ALWAYS hear it in the town. All of the time, and it get's REALLY annoying REALLY fast.) and making it great.
I commend you on the instruments that you would generally find in the town, such as the bell, fiddle, and the flute (if there were bards) and the way that you expressed the song was in an artful, tasteful, but more importantly, catchy way sent warm feelings down my spine. I really feel that there was not much that you could change about this song. But, I have to comment on ONE downside at least, and it may be a low blow, but...
I simply felt that, as one of the most annoying parts of the song was the fact that the fiddle played the same thing for the entire time in the background of the song. And it was in such a tone that it just didn't really belong in most of the song. Such as the begining, when it was in that screechingly-high tone, I could barely stand that. But it did cover up nicely with the rest of the instruments over it. My only problem is that there could have been more use in that fiddle. I mean, the same thing all the way through just kinda get's to you after hearing it about 6 times (as i just have done.)
So, a perfect score, and I really had to dig deep for that one. So, keep up the good work, and I'll leave a few 5's next time I'm around!
