i liked the hand drawn characters, u got real talent there bud, but what u need is sound.. and blood... and to finish the game.. then it would rock the new grounds world....

eh, potential
It has potential. Go back and finish it and i'd gladly take a second look. you need some stats meters or something too so you can see your hp and whatnot. otherwise just a crappy rpg demo like the rest of 'em.
not a bad start.....
just needs a bit more fine tuning, sound, and perhaps some guages for HP/MP. Keep trying!
Needs improvement
Good start on your project. The Graphics are alright but the characters should move when they attack. The scanned images are good but they don't fit the surroundings. Is it possible to trace them in flash or clean them up to look like the rest of the game in a graphics program. There is no point to the game. It needs plot! Right now it is as boring as watching astroturf grow. Why would anyone want to play something as fruitless as this game. Sound would be good too. You need to display HP/MP too. Without a display to gage your losses by losing HP and MP seems inconsequential. You can definately improve on a lot before you post a final version.

This game can be great, i love the general style of the baddies and magic art. The problem is the scanned chsrecters. Altouth they are drawn really well it just doesnt fit in with all the graphics. As for what it lacks, first is sound which im sure your aware of (its also a thing that can make or break a good RPG). 2nd is displaying the hp/mp that the charecters have. 3rd, the charecters need to move when there attacking, a picture of them swinging there weapon would even work. A firend and i have been working on project vary alike to the style you are using, and if you want i can work with you some to provide tips. I have also gotten good at editing pictures that where hand written and make them look more computer animated.
