Reviews for "y my 5th movie"

Too little to do...

I like this because it is based on real-life experiences. However, there is not enough interactivity. If you do, such as setting the mouse traps, bait, etc. it could be a great game. Keep working on it!

A little more interactivity is necessary

I believe that this movie could have been much better if it would hasve a bit more interactivity. I mean maybe having to aim the bottle or be able to move the broom to where you desire to strike. move the box etc. This movie had good effort though and was amusing but these few suggestions would make it stand out!

Violet-AIM responds:

Thanks for your suggestions. Okay, you have a point there about the interactivity part, it could've been more than what it was. I might've chosen to have less interaction due to my wanting a small file size for this movie (less wait) and possibly my own laziness. I was also trying to make the game sorta easy, but if you want more interactivity or more difficulty, I can try to do that in a future movie.

Very Stylish

I liked how you really had to put yourself into the game to play it. If you love interactivity, you will just love this. The graphics are pretty cool, the mice are drawn perfectly. I have had this problem a few times, but never brought myself to killing the little bastards. I just used a glue pad and set them free in the sewage drain.

Violet-AIM responds:

Thanks for appreciating the interactivity in this flash game. I do feel bad about letting them die on glue traps, too bad for them that I'm not as nice as you are.

Interesting

For your sound problem you may just wish to set it to stream through the whole movie, but it's wiser to make a short sound loop that repeats smoothly first. That should take care of that. As far as mice and rats go I understand fully about those. I lived on the fox river for 22 years before I moved and I had to deal with mice and rats all the time due to the water and when it flooded there was ALOT more of the buggers. I had a dog out back that ate them, and I had 7 outside cats, but it still wasn't enough. I understand your pain, I've been there. Interesting game. And thank you for being realistic with the mouse trap. People seem to think that mouse traps cut off heads and make them bleed. a RAT TRAP on a mouse might, but not a mouse trap on a mouse. Good work. There are a few things to touch up, but otherwise I thought it was interesting

Violet-AIM responds:

Nice to hear from someone who has had to deal with a mouse problem. Thanks for the advice about the sound problem I had. I actually saw a mouse getting killed by a mouse trap, so I saw what really happened, which like you said, isn't that dramatic (no decapitation or blood). The only thing that I noticed was that the tail moved for a second, and then it stopped. I'm guessing that's about as instant of a death you can get.

Call me a sick bastard, I thought it was funny....

Well, I thought it was funny. I don't condone killing mice, but when they are pooping all over your friend's house (especially if you are staying there), and that cat doesn't give a shit, there is nothing more satisfying then the "whoomp" of a mouse trap catching a mouse. You feel bad at first, but when rat "treats" start turning up in your morning bowl of cereal, it starts to put a damper on things.

Violet-AIM responds:

Cool, you understand what it feels like to be plagued by mice, and why it was necessary for me to use mouse traps. Nice to hear you saw some humor in it...oh and thanks for the "9".
