It looks like a great game in the making.......but

1. the ether recovery amount is way too low
2. you should animate the physical/magical attacks
3. hate to rant but, I dont like the blue hair
4. the sword attack misses too much
5. will there be multiple characters in one battle?

it was ok,just another FF battle simulator.kinda funny that you can max out your level and skills before entering a single battle and then use ultima to kill any of those super-tough brown goblins,lol.a bit of a waste if you ask me.keep up the good work though.

Ok... being the cacked out final fantasy freak that I am (hell I have griever tatooed on my chest!) I'll try my best to describe my experience with your game...here goes..

First of all : nice sound effects and backgrounds!
the battle theme is wrong though..ff mistic quest sucks!!! It needs way more animation!!! potions need to recover around 100 hp not just 20...change the word ''fighting'' and ''armorclass'' in the status screen for strenght and defense.put a victory music after a battle (duh duh duh dumm dooo doo dum duh dummmmm!) make a cheap store to bye better weapons and armor (wich would involve into creating a equipment menu)... more party members? healing magic would be nice! do not make the hero start with all magic! make him buy them! ...nice drawings but one question: on status screen..you see two verion of hero: one small (for world map i guess) and other for battle... WHY ARN'T THEY HOLDING THE SAME WEAPON? ...sorry about brigning all this shit up..but am a royal and true ff fan and I feel it is my duty to point at those flanks.. but you did make a good job though! (better than the rest thats for sure ;) please come back with a improved version! Id love to see it! I could even help if your realy interested into making it a full game... just write back at svgriever@msn.com good luck anyhow...

1. There's no story.

2. 75% of the time, his attacks miss. WTF is up with that?

3. Potions recover MORE than just 20. And since that stupid brown goblin thing's invisible attacks do 20 each time, potions are completely pointless.

4. There's no animations for the attacks when a monster does them.

5. Why does he start off with Ultima?

6. What was that battle music called?

A lot of improvements need to be made before this can be considered remotely playable. But, it's only a beta, so whaddaya expect?

Well In earlier responces I already said that the script I used is stolen from Dungeons and Dragons... I always threw 1d20 lower than what I should so I missed... Even in the game I was creating. And I entered everything including Ultima because I didn't create a worldmap so learning or collecting it was out of the option.
