Reviews for "-Race around the world-"

nice!

i'm sure someone else has already asked, but i'm way too lazy to search through the other reviews to find out. is it a banjocaster or a synth? and is it the same thing for hillbilly breakout? these two songs are my new favorites, not just on newgrounds but like i burned them to a cd and play them in my car.

Good Friging Job

Seriously, nice Job. I am new to making music (Well, ''New'' is a big word, lets just say i TRIED to make a song a logn time ago xD) But thats not important, i really like this song, it makes me HyperActive though O.< Anyways, i congratulate you for youre awesomeness.

Keep up the good work, my ears are addicted now >.>

Harvest Moon on crack lol

Isn't it? It's really good sounding though. Also reminds me of a classic NES game called 3D WorldRunner by Square.

Hmm... I dunno...

... I thought this would suit a good video game, possibly an overworld theme. :)

I also thought the banjo was very good. XD

Basically, this was great! And I'll be listening to it for the rest of the day. :3
And maybe tomorrow. XD

I'm a little confused.

When people say they make stuff, does that mean they take pre-existing loops and mash them together, or do they mean that they played each instrument and made the song from nothing?

If it's the former (and that's what it sounds like), then that's a darn shame. I gave this an 8 though because it's still damn good.

Waterflame responds:

I composed this song myself, ive never used pre-made loops and never will. i havent played a real banjo or anything, but i played the melodies on a midi keyboard. its all a original piece ;) the sounds are soundfonts that simulate real sounds. since i cant afoard a live orcestra in my bedroom o,O thanks for asking tho, hope this clears out that question ;P and thanks!
