This is really cool!
The sidechain raises the song to another level, so grabby and punchy. The only part that feels off about the sidechain is that synth pad, it sounds like its coming back in faster than the bass so it doesn't feel in sync with the bass. If the synth and bass were at the same release rate I think it would help the rhythm flow better. The answer/response melody is very cool as well. I like it.
