Reviews for "-=LJC=- 8-bitty Ditty"

OMG LJ! :D

This is soo fucking addictive. I really don't know what to say. This is 8-bit goodness. on it's very best and original too! This would perfectly fit in a game as menu music or credits or overall song. It fits everywhere!

Damn addictive to say it yet again. One of my new fav. tracks for awhile! Which means a couple of fives for you! ;D

Keep em coming my good man!

LJCoffee responds:

Thanks man - I'm glad you liked this one. I had fun making it and now I find myself playing more and moar with this style - I'll probably be adding a few others sometime soon.

chip and pin

how goes it ler?
this is so very damned playful it makes me wanna play with myself! if you get a rainy afternoon you should work this into that track you mentioned would be a real headbopping showstopper i reckons...
got a new one up myself if you get the time, gonna go and see what else you've squeezed out since i was last about
;ped

LJCoffee responds:

I like the idea of pulling this into something bigger. I'm glad to hear that you're still playing with yourself. Gotta keep those pipes clean mate! :D

I'd really like to intro a track with some 8-bit and overlay it with something a little harder - maybe some gabba. Of course, I could go with the original idea and just do the bog-standard 8-bit + DnB...

See ya 'round!

brilliant

i just LOVE this kind of music, and I love this track :)
i'm a total noob in digital music making, but since i have a big background of playing music, i'm wondering, what program(s) do you suggest using?
what medium did you use for this one?
anyway, i loved this loop, i'm totally going to check your music gallery.

LJCoffee responds:

Thanks - I'm glad you liked this one but I think you may be a bit disappointed if you check the rest of my stuff...

For creating music on a computer I would suggest getting a pile of demos and seeing what fits well with your style but I'd recommend saving up for a copy of Ableton Live. AcidPro is a damn decent program as well - Reason is aso very good and a lot of people seems to like FL. For synths, check out the Native Instruments line.

This tracks was sequenced in AcidPro and all of the sounds were created with three instances of Zebra2.

Thanks again!

like it

i imagine myself walking endlessly in a 2d world with an ice cream truck by my side. im not dead yet, im trying to FINISH TRACK!

LJCoffee responds:

Ummmm - if that's your way of hinting that I should do something more with this idea then I thank you for your encouragement!

Thanks Glib - glad you liked it. I value your opinion as I seem to be under the impression that you know your shit. (and know it well) :D

cool stuff

good stuff you should post more stuff with the 8-bit tone with it!!

LJCoffee responds:

Thanks, if you're into 8-bit stuff you should keep an eye on the current Monthly Audio Contest found here:
