Akira's stuff is really great. I guess it's not hard to noticed it's inspired by games like Silent Hill, huh? :)

This song slowly progresses maintaining a rather grim and dark tone (with a faint glimmer of... hope(?)) about it, but not enough to invoke an air of terror, for me at least. If you can pin the slow, but steady progression like this song, you could make some really awesome and upbeat shit (to tack onto your list of already impressive songs). Usually, when there's horror music, notes that don't go together will clash against each other. For the style you were trying to go for, I would recommend you watch the movie, "The Thing." You'll know what I am talking about when you see the scene...
Other than the intened target being missed, I think you did a really great job with the music!
P.S.: I tend to go in depth, so read everything before responding...
