The main problem is "the you inside". Gombrowicz was convinced that there's no such thing as the "me inside" because a man can't afford authenticity. "I'm never able to be myself, and at the same time I want to be myself" - he has seen it as an unsolvable conflict.

man i could go on about many aspects of this painting like many other people that have reviewed this piece of art but i shall no, (a) because that would be a large waste of time and (b) i am not a critique so i don't know were to start so I'm just going to say well done.
