Reviews for "8-Bit Misadventures 1"

good

this was a good idea and movie and the clock crew still sucks

Pretty good...

A parody of a parody? Interesting...
Pretty well made. I'm sure the original 8-bit theatre would have gone something like this if that rock did that...
On the whole, not bad. A little rough round the edges, but not bad at all.

Meh

It's just not the same without voice acting...and you capitalized a little too much on the jokes in the previous 8B.T. Maybe make some original stuff? And if anything, the mage should've finished off the "guy in white hair" and the fighter...by accident, of course.

Interesting

That was pretty much a blatant rip-off of 8-Bit Theatre. I don't care whether you have permission or not, but making more original stuff would really have boosted the score on this. I mean, you just basically took the 8-Bit characters with their different personalities, and put them in a new situation, and also in a relatively similar situation from a situation they were put in in the comic. Perhaps you could use different characters, or change their personalities to make them more original, plus then you won't have (as many) people pointing out the similarities between this and 8-Bit Theatre.
Two suggestions:
1. Get some voice actors. A lot of the sarcasm and comedy can then come out through the use of voices instead of bland text at the top of the screen.
2. Work on backgrounds. The sky in the first scene was white, you could have made it blue or something, and it would have improved the scene quite a bit.

CronoCrusher responds:

OK, please everyone, just read the whole comment i made before posting for the love of god. THIS IS 8-BIT THEATRE

it is it is it is, as you have said they are in different situations, YES that was the whole point! 8-Bit Theatre in different situations.

As it has been said we asked to borrow the idea; what does that mean you say? It means, their characters, their personalities and so forth.

And lastly we would have voice overs but then again you people would probably complain AGAIN that its just not the same as ALL of the other 8-bit theatre animations

5/10

Its a nice movie, but the best part in the whole flash was the fight between the two swords men and the scene selecter screen.

The scene selection was so cool! I mean... it was like butta. The buttons were nice and glossy, making them really fun to look at. And the way it scrolls if you move your mouse... Sweet.

I laughed. Mostly at gags done by 8-Bit Theatre. Hey, I'm not putting the flash down, but I'm just saying that it wouldn't hurt to streach those creativity muscles. But all in all, it was fine. I'm glad you just weren't ripping and you gave recognition to the 8-bit Theatre creator and asked for permtion. Very nice of you. That bosted your style points. People that rip piss me off. Good job man.

With your skills, I'm sure you can make great things.
