Reviews for "The Necromancer Episode 3"

Good but....

The only problem I had with it was the voice acting. Everyone had the same voice (kinda) Satan, Cain, Necromancer and The Master all sounded the same. It's not that it's all that bad, but its confusing if you aren't reading the subtitles. I like this series, but to do it justice, you need more voice actors. Give Cain a deep bass type of talk like megatron on Transformers Beasties... or like Sauruman on LOTR. I'm not sure how to record voices on my laptop, or I'd offer to lend a hand. I've wanted to voice act for a while... it's been a dream of mine ever since I was a wee lad....

Sorry bout that... back to reality. You have a good series here. You just need more voice actors.

Peace. MrBigGuy

Pretty Good

Need to work on your art work. It's ok but put more work into it, more realistic, and more detail. Also make better animations. Were those orcs?

good storyline

the grafics for medusa could have been better, but overall it was a good movie

A series of almosts

There is so much in this movie that is almost good it's sad to see it fall short of its potential. For instance: the artistic style is nice, but the actual quality of the art is lacking; you have an artistic vision but seem unable to translate that into flash. The voice acting is pretty decent, but sometimes the voices are too quiet to hear. The characters could be interesting, (you've got a typically evil character trying to play the good guy) but the execution leaves the characters hollow archetypes of what most of us have seen before. Also, the encounter with "satan" was pretty cheesy; possibly because of the connotation of his name. When we think satan we think "fire and brimstone" preachers, which just doesn't mesh well with the fantasy setting. Do what most fantasy authors do and rename him something else (The Dark One, Lord Foul, Corruption, Mr. Meanie, etc). That way he doesn't bring all that extra mental baggage that comes with the "satan" connotation. Lastly, all the farmers looked like clones of one another...take the extra time to draw them separately.
All in all, a decent series, but not quite mature enough for my tastes.

Not bad, but keep working.

I reviewed your first movie, awhile back. What did I say about working on your drawing skills? I liked the way you showed us some of the necromancer's back story though. "Necromancer: this is your life!" Couple things. Firstly, you need to pronounce "necromancer" right. It's driving me crazy. It's "Neck-row-mancer" not "Nee-crow-mancer" Also, I don't think you should have had satan in this move. Some sort of other demon would have done, like Malbulgia or something. Satan didn't fit too well. Besides that, good work, work on your drawing style, and I can't wait to see the next one!
