Hey thanks. I work really hard (sometimes) to keep a traditional feel to my work, even though I use digital tools. I miss using real materials, but frankly it is so much cheaper to go digital. haha

I love the effect of how it feels like it's jumping (growing?) out of the page. I'm curious though, did you modify a picture of a rose, or make this from scratch? Either way it's still awesome.

The flower is hand painted from a photo reference, the leaves and surrounding is all painted from memory. It is all painted by hand in photoshop with a cintiq 21 ux.
