I wonder what will happen in the next episode (if there is one)
I've been meaning to do more pixel art stuff for a long time now, but it wasn't until just recently that I found the right techniques and tools to accomplish it. I'm very happy with how this one turned out, but it's WAY more work to produce than my normal content. I'll definitely be sticking to the retro CG aesthetic as my go-to, but who knows, you may see more of this style or derivatives of it in the future. Cheers!

Wunkolo for their PixDither addon, which was instrumental in achieving this aesthetic.
Paul Conigliaro of Slemmer Creative for their Type Array addon, which made animating dialogue even remotely tolerable.
Kay Lousberg for their KayKit asset packs, which saved a ton of work for scene building.
All of you!

reimu??
How long did it take to Make this 3D Animation and how hard is it? :D
This was maybe 30 hours of work spread over a week or so. A good portion of that was just experimenting, learning and researching, but it's still a fairly tedious process. I essentially had to lip sync 3 times over with creating the synth vocals, animating the characters, then animating the text. I could probably get this done faster were I to do it again since I have more experience, but that's not gonna be for a while. All the tools I used are in the description/commentary.
oh my gosh, I love this!!!! I understand it may take more work, but goodness, if you get the chance of making more pixel content, that would be amazing! So neat :DDD
