Yuri Lowenthal was given money on cameo to shout "LET'S GO LESBIANS" among other things, so that made me want to do something funny with Simon. Unfortunately there are no lesbians in Gurren Lagann because Trigger didn't invent homosexuality until 2014. So I went ahead and used Ryuko and Mako from Kill la Kill -- which is the sort of pop culture cross-over I can celebrate.
