yea that was not a good game. If ye want an example of a game where audio matters alot may I recommend Hippolyta
Beat the game and unlock speed run mode!
A thunder storm happens and scares away all your dogs, call out to your dogs and listen to 3D audio to find where your dogs are hiding but beware the wolves trying to get your sheep!
Small game me and 2 others made for the Ludum Dare 55 contest (Summoning theme), this is the completed version that we wanted to make but didn't have time.

audio cues aren't helpful at all even though I'm wearing headphones. Also it's random whether dogs respond or not. And the game freezes if you click off of it.
I lost on purpose after passing the final checkpoint during a speedrun, and when I clicked play again it just let me continue from the same spot with all four dogs rather than starting me over.
Cute little game, but the audio mechanics didn't seem to work for me? When I called out to the dogs, it didn't feel like the sound was coming from any sort of direction, instead always seeming to be coming from a neutral center. Because of this, the only way I could find the dogs was from volume alone, which while good enough to get me through the game, it felt less satisfying and a bit awkward, particularly because the volume remained practically the same level until you were right on top of the dog. Perhaps I just have bad headphones? Anyway, it's a decent idea, albeit rough in its execution and would've loved to see it expanded upon a bit more (like maybe it gets harder, with other competing animal cries drowning out the sound or something)!
The checkpoints were a bit hard to find, so I'd recommend an arrow pointing to the next one whenever you find a dog. Otherwise, nice work!
