This film started as a passion project early 2020, with a thought I could never get out of my head: it would be so strange if for vegan/vegetarian 'anniversaries', people went out of their way to 'break vedge'. On one hand, everything tastes better after a long period of absence and all your omnivore friends would love it, but on another hand, it morally wouldn't make any sense (and would probably give you a horrible stomachache). This eventually evolved into an homage about missing just being out for a night on the town with friends (specifically in Columbus, Ohio) and was just a ton of fun to animate. I started it as just a batch of scratchy thumbnails and then did it, for the most part, straight ahead from scene to scene.

This is my crunchy version for Newgrounds: I cranked up the outlines/colors to be a little bit overboard and feel like an old/early Flash cartoon. I kinda like it better than the original version!
