Controls


You control Izak with the arrows and 6 key buttons, A, S, D, Z, X and Enter. I'm curious because I've never seen a console control of any console with 5 key buttons, but anyway. Izak will move freely from left to right; he will go down the bridges or platforms if you touch the down arrow; A is the key that makes you shoot projectiles once you have them; S will make you run; and the most important letter for the whole game is D.   • You must choose a language before starting, otherwise the Spanish language will be by default

History


"Renting a boat to think and try fishing sounds like a good idea, until fate wants to see you suffer again. Izak a golem-cyclops, is an inhabitant of the rare but gigantic Calcin Island; however, his adventures only fill him with bad memories and losses, so he decides to go to the open sea to think and try to fish. However, a big wave will take him to an unknown island, and he will not be able to leave it until he resolves unfinished business from his past. He discovers the island of dreams, recovers your memories, saves its inhabitants and fights to fly once more."


Developer Notes:


This demo took me 2 years to create, there have been family problems, a pandemic, studies, a low-end PC, etc.


To be honest, your code hasn't aged well, and maybe there are bugs that my test team didn't see. However, I promise to update it every 3 months, giving at least 1 new level and many other things that I couldn't Program.


And no, this is the game I want. I'm sick of the GM engine and wish I could use another engine to help me program better.


I want to thank @VelarFricative, @possibly @CodigoKiller75, and @Eldritchsaxes for contributing their amazing music, which is so beautiful that I don't feel this game is the right one to host them.

The name of the game and the aesthetics certainly caught my attention at the beginning and I truly found a truly unique gem that pays tribute to the 16-bit games I enjoyed with my sister.

CONS: Someone who knows how to use punctuation and sentence structure needs to edit the dialogue. A link to the itch.io page would have helped. The enemy design of a spiked head makes it unintuitive to jump on. I would include "demo" in the NG title.
PROS: I appreciate the instructions and I really enjoy the graphics. The movement seems natural enough but I need to try the offline version to be sure.

Hello, I wanted to thank you for your comments, because they help me to improve as a developer, if you see problems in the text (mostly in the punctuation) is because at the time of converting it to Html5 the dialogs for some strange reason was corrupted at the time of putting a have some punctuation that recognized as code itself, I will do my best to fix it for future versions, I will also take into account the design of the enemies so that there is no confusion whatsoever. As for the itch.io version I already put the link in the game description so you can try it without any problem.
