I just wanted to point out something interesting I noticed which is the "15 homicides" thing. I don't hate the US, but a hell of a lot them really know how to piss and moan.

Just doing some Maths, if there was 15 murders one day in 1976, back then with a population of 218m, that's a murder of rate of 0,007/100 000 that day. Here in SA, with a population of 59m, with 82 murders a day, that works out to 0,139/100 000 in an average day. That's nearly 20 times worse.

Then they'll look at gun violence and cry about how much worse it is then country's like Switzerland and Japan.

Just because you're well off, doesn't mean you can't point out the flaws you do have, but you have to understand how much better you have it than the vast majority of people in the world, and that goes for individuals with a lot of money compared to the rest of your country, or countries as a whole compared to the rest of the world.

It's a shame that most of the world doesn't like the US because of this exact reason. They tend to be the dumping ground and butt end of the jokes by most people of most nations. Hopefully one day this can change.
