I enjoy the game a lot actually. my only real complaints are: A) make W the jump key. just do it, it would make gameplay a lot smoother and B) add a life system and not make it one hit kill. it would make the game a lot more enjoyable. other then that you have done great. love the art and sound effects lol.

This is Super Gunsman and it was my first attempt at making a full fledged game in 2020! I would like to credit Shaun Spalding for the sprites and code! I tried making a game for my cousins when I was about 16 years old so I based my entire game off of Shaun's tutorials. The level design of the game and everything is not thought out, it was mostly meant to piss my cousins off since I thought it would be funny to be a "rage game" but it really isn't a "rage game" of sorts, it's just a poorly built game on my part.
TinyTylerr and I did plan on making a sequel to this game that is actually good but I am not sure when or if that'll actually happens but incase it does happen I wanted this to be somewhere on the internet for people to experience the horror that is the original Super Gunsman.
I am planning on working on other games when I get the chance. I have a game that is in alpha of sorts that I haven't worked on in a while but I do plan on picking it back up soon but before then have fun playing this not so good try at a rage game! (BTW THERE IS A SECRET WEAPON HIDDEN IN THE GAME SO IF YOU FIND IT, LET ME KNOW)

The game's not BAD, but the fact that it's pretty much just a tutorial game is a bit unfortunate. The thumbnail art is fantastic, give TinyTylerr a big smooch for me.
Regardless, you got through a project. Seeing a game through til the very end is something most aspiring game devs don't even do, so good job for making it this far! You should now have the knowledge to know how to make something original when you take a swing at game development again.

i founded the secret weapon, and it has a bug. when you die, you lose it if you respawn holding the shooting button
add music,better the sfx (listen to the same sound of shooting isn't good for the head), and delete god

Thank you for the review! I'll look into and try to fix the issue with the secret gun and fix it. When it comes to the music and effects, thank you for that critique since surprisingly I think you are the first person to ever suggest that to me and I have no idea why I never thought of even adding at least the slightest bit of music. I'll get on that as soon as I can and I'll find a new shooting sound effect! Thank you so much!
