Movie critics Ry and his cat Blacky review Barney the Dinosaur's new Western film, "The Good, The Bad and The Barney" on their public access show.

This is the seventh episode of Ry's Review and one of many appearances of Barney the Dinosaur in my cartoons.

My take on Barney is that he is a loud, obnoxious, racist and sexist magic dinosaur who thinks he knows everything but really knows very little about anything and lacks social skills.

Ry just doesn't give a shite and says whatever is on his mind at the time so he is perfect for simple one sentence reviews. Ry is based on myself which is why he has such a stupid monotone voice. Some say his voice does not match his design, but the design is a caricature of myself in college so it fits for me.

Blacky is Ry's feline co-host who cannot speak. She communicates with Ry throw meows and purrs and he always seems to understand her. Blacky is based on my childhood cat.

The animation is crude. This is for several reasons. I have very little patience and lose interest in projects quickly so I try to crank them out as fast as I can. I am also not a very good artist. I was greatly influenced by South Park and have a tiny smidge of Chuck Jones in my drawings (my favorite animator). Animation is rough but I like to get out stupid stories and jokes in my writing. It is a vessel to hopefully make people laugh.

My humor can be controversial and has gotten me in some trouble on YouTube and also when I was in college and at an internship. With "cancel culture" going on (which is B.S.) I struggle with taming myself down. I have tried to do tame cartoons but I just don't enjoy writing them. My cartoons often make me laugh-out-loud when I am working on them. They are not for everyone but they are definitely made for me. I have made 80+ animated cartoons since I started in 2002 when I was in high school. You may be asking yourself, "Why aren't you a better animator after doing it for so long?" I kind of stated it earlier. Though I am embarrassed by most of my past cartoons because they suck, I feel like lately I have been growing in some form.

I love hearing from people who enjoy my work. Not so much trolls and haters. Anyone can hate something, but if you can't do any better you really have no place to judge. If you can, by all means judge away!

These cartoons are for fun and not meant to condone hate. If you feel that way it is a shame you cannot laugh at the stupid and absurd.
