Created in a world where data flows this way and that, and everybody is just standing around looking at it?

Screw this, lets MOVE.


Acro-bot is an 2d Action-Platformer with a focus on cool movement and simple visuals.

Includes 32 levels, 8 secrets and a boss to defeat at the end.


  • If you ever get super stuck, you can press 7 to self-destruct.
  • ESC for Pause Menu.
  • You can change the controls in the Options menu

1 Sept 2023 - 1.0.3

3K Views?! Holy Crap! Thanks so much for playing everyone!


I hope to keep updating the game here and there with improvements. I plan on a bigger update with some more content and polishes (and medals!). A lot of valuable comments come in giving advice for tweaks and fixes. Thank you to those who are doing that! I hope to keep fixing stuff so its more fun :) It really helps to hear it when you play your own game too much. You become a little blind.


I had a lot of critique on the boss which I highly appreciate. Although I'm still not happy with its design right now, I've nerfed a few unfair things about him which will hopefully make him much easier. In the next big update (1.1) I hope to redesign the fight.


Traffic Boss Changes:

  • Reduced hitbox size of projectiles and removed splash damage
  • Reduced size and duration of beam attack
  • Reduced number of projectiles thrown on last phase to 6
  • No longer leads shots on last phase
  • Fixed Traffic getting the player stuck during beam attack

Player Changes

  • Removed Snap-Back technique
  • Kicking can be done faster out of a Vault
  • The full upward boost from killing enemies is now more consistent

General

  • Expanded How To Play with more tips and tricks
  • Added save files. You can now continue from the room you last played on
  • Fixed a collision bug on EnemyGates that allowed players to clip out of the Boss room
  • Added an arrow to Superloops to indicate where you will launch

Rooms

  • room11 - Moved energy pickups around to lead the player
  • room15 - geometry fix at the end
  • room27 - Changed button to a timer on the last wall jump
  • room29 - removed spring from 2nd last Superloop. Geometry fix at start


Known Bugs

  • room27 - pause menu isn't visible.

29 Aug 2023 - 1.0.2 - Crash / Black Screen Fixes!

  • Fixed Walljumps Crashing the game on a precise frame.
  • Fixed Crash when pausing the game in a room with AND gates.
  • Fixed Powered Blocks pushing player through them when Diving (didnt exactly fix some ledges in room29 tho...)
  • Geometry fixes on a few rooms.

Needs a save mechanic to prevent loss of progress due to random crashes and then I would be able to actually finish the game.
(Found out it does have saves just one time when it crashed in one of the later levels I lost all my progress.)

Great game but the bossfight is very unintuitive

it feels so good to shmove in this game

How do I enter fullscreen?
