Actual Crit:

Pros: The concept is one that needs to be talked about more, As metaphore for self isolation and suicide caused by social pressure, going to the moon as an escape from the world is a good analogue. Also, you got a lot done in a style that would reach a larger audience, and, the reflection moment, was done in a way that still leaves you satisfied. Over all ultimately good messaging that was also an entertaining short. Also enjoyed the reference to John Glen.

cons:
-The movement and story telling could have been aided with different pacing
-The story resolution was obvious so I knew it was coming the moment he chose to go to the moon

But overall good messaging, good style, and good you were willing to tackle a hard subject in a more palettable way.

Kinda reminds me the video clip from Stuck in the sound - Let´s go , but not being dark.

I know that kind of message now a cliche, but important things should be not forgotten.
I guess the creator knows that, that´s why he spent a lot of work on it and polished it later.
Not a complex story, but I find effective make your message simple in order to reach bigger audience.

Fighting against our demons was always been a common subject among artist. We should not underestimate the smaller ones too.

I really enjoyed the animation as a whole. I think the story is one we have seen/heard time and time again, but your version of it is a simple easy to explain short, whereas movies would take a hour and a half to tell this same story. He is on Phineas and Ferb levels of intelligence.

I like the characters, they are a bit bland but the main duo are fun and the shape language is spectacular on them. I like the voice of the characters, however the main character Glenn not speaking or uttering a sound in the first half was strange, since he wasn't mute and talked a few scenes later. I understand he is shy but at least a grunt or gasp would of made him feel more human.

The music choice was alright, it fit the time its set in, and the sound effects were put together well. My favorite part by far is how good the animation quality is. I do enjoy the simple style of it, and something I noticed was the blinking did look a bit strange, it took me some getting used to. The 3d was blended in nicely as well.

The writing is not my favorite, again very predictable and every character serves their purpose and that's it. The execution is superb, great work man.

high quality animation but I stopped watching after a purple haired girl drove off a jock, gives off some marxist vibes
