  • Took out Level Select Menu

Polished the Ability Function: After some experimenting, I think I finally settled on how I want Diablo's Thermal mechanic to work in-game. All you have to do is set which temperature you want with the Z button, press or hold down the X button to activate the ability... and let the chaos begin.

Fire Fan 9000: Created and patented by Hit-Rat, The Fire Fan 9000 is a single person transportation device completely powered by heat! Why? Because Don Diablo specifically ordered an invention that only he could use! He also may or may not have wanted to fly with his friend and Guardian Angel, MacInnes. This is another way you can navigate a room and get to the other side - HOWEVER, you'll need your Fire Power constantly activated to keep it moving AND while dodging your busy Imp Staff, kids, and any other hazards. Your heat will also affect the environment around you. Yeah, good luck with that!

Ice: When the player or enemies move on the ice, they begin to slip n' slide about. Sometimes it's there, but other times you can make it by freezing spilled water with your frost ability. Simply move close to the water, set your ability to Frost and activate it to change the water to ice. You can also change it back to water by switching to your Fire ability. The ice gives you a speed and jump boost that you can use in certain areas, though you'll have to be precise with movement. I aim to give players a challenge with the reward of getting to difficult areas.

Health Dummies: They hold extra lives. Use your abilities - frost, fire, or both - to beat it down and get the extra life!

Took out Level Select: I noticed that on one of the places I uploaded last month's build, the button for the level selection was broken. I don't know if the file just got corrupted or it was the website, but I've decided to try and see what I could do to keep that from happening. Sadly, no matter what I did, the Level Select menu wasn't working. This isn't a big problem for the demo, but it will be for the final game, so it's on my list of concerns.

A couple of minor things I did was fix a dialogue issue I noticed with Brielle in one of the rooms, gave Hammon a hitbox after you stun him, and added a little Secret to the game. Special thanks to my friend Xuni for helping me come up with the last one. A hint I'll give is that you'll find it if you quit the level too soon.

I appreciate any and all feedback!
