Exactly one year ago today, a game I was heavily addicted to called Skylanders Ring of Heroes, got shut down. Even though they were planning to include a ton of additional content in the later updates, including new exclusive characters like a dark mantis and a bat with a bomb/gun.

Similarly, a couple of weeks ago, another Activision mobile game I use to play a lot called "Crash Bandicoot on the Run", also got closed down, despite big plans to update the game.

Many suspect that this was due to the Activision Blizzard lawsuit back in the second half of 2021, thus productions of both games had to be halted during October. During both Decembers of 2021 and 2022, they announced their games' closures will be around February.

Before their closures, I did once make two animations which I never published on Newgrounds because they were too short. One was for Ring of Heroes as teaser and reminder to include the new Skylanders. Another was for Crash's hiatus and why he hasn't had a new game in 2022. Because of both the games' closures and the fact that Crash is about to have a new game coming next year called "Crash Team Rumble", I've decided to remove those animations and retool them into this one.

What I do hope for Crash Team Rumble is that it's not a free to play game, due to my previous experience with the last two free to play games. And although this is very minor, I do hope the Skylanders can be guest characters for the game, since Rumble is made by their creator, Toys for Bob.
