Fiend Heart (Prototype)

Author Comments

I like monster girls and so I decide to make a game about monster girls.

Fiend Heart is my first game and today I wanted to share it with Newgrounds.

Reach the end of the game and you will have a free art book with the ost.

CONTROLS:

WASD, Arrow keys or D-pad on gamepad (Xbox one) ---------> Movement

X,K or a button ------------------------------------------------------------> Jump

C,J,L or x button ----------------------------------------------------------> Attack

T or start buttom ----------------------------------------------------------> Pause

If you find a level difficult and don't know how to beat it, you can have an idea by looking how I beat them in this small video:

If you just wanna see the girls and interactions, well... you can press the P key in the keyboard and it will refill your life.

This feature is only available in this Newgrounds version, the steam version doesn't have it. You can play the steam version here:

Follow me on my twitter RM120 to see my progress and my future projects related to Fiend Heart and the universe I plan to make and expand in the future. Also, make sure to tell me which girl you like the most.

Her air dash makes me chuckle everytime she does it.

no bad

Controlling jumps was just too awkward, especially given the presence of instant-death falls or damage/recoil from enemies where you're trying to land. I would have preferred to be able to slow/shorten a jump when pressing in the opposite direction instead of immediately flying in the opposite direction.

The repeat speed of traps like wall spikes was also too fast to feel like you were able to time getting past, and attack range felt too short (especially in mid-air, where control is already a problem). I'd also suggest having retracted spikes be subtly visible in some way to help with judging moving/jumping around them.

Gotta check it out on Steam

very fun game tbh

Thank you, I'm glad you like it.
