This reminds me of those dark artists like Tim Burton. I also have a thing for hand-drawn animation.
This is made as a final project for my animation class. We either had to do hand drawn traditional animation, claymation, or paper cut out animation. We had a one month deadline to make this project, so if you're wondering why things look rushed and unpolished, that's why.
Nonetheless, I do think that the crudeness fits here. That's just my opinion about it though. *shrugs*
