Gaming has become a farce of paywalled nonsense and inane crossovers.

A lot of these grabs are so games get actually payed for due to the fact that even though inflation has obviously gone up, your dollar gets you less as the years go on, games have remained $60 since I think around 2001? But I'm probably incorrect about that and it may be even longer or shorter. Games should be around $90 to even $110 however the average gamer would probably tear their hair out if they saw the price of games jump by $50 overnight.

However, that's not an excuse necessarily, I'd be willing to pay more if these systems would get out of my video games. Modern Warfare 2022, pretty good example it was $70, but there's no loot box systems to worry about. There are paid cosmetics however I know what I'm getting with those instead of just gambling and hoping for the best. But things like Overwatch 2 while going free have you pay for heroes where it could cost even more money than $60 and I know why they did it, and Activision and Blizzard was a horrible combination from the start.

Just hope they eventually fix these problems, because I'm tired of them, charge more and have it be done with I wouldn't mind paying $100 for a game if it meant I got the entire thing.

TLDR: games are like this cause they're too cheap, increase the price a bit and remove these shitty systems.

To think that at one point the Foamy franchise too capitalized on similar elements...

Love the end things on these. A little extra melodic wisdom and all.

Good stuff.

Honestly those devs who do those things ruin games for me, so much so I have to go back to the late 90's early 2000's for a good challenge. I'm replaying Command and Conquer on hard mode just to have a challenge these days. Because these new games are either pay to win or lack a good anti-cheat program to keep the games fair and balanced for a good fair challenging fight with people.

Wait slipknot in Smite???

Someone on Twitter once told me that Cash Grab mechanics weren't bad because they're "the norm" now. I tried clarifying it to them that these mechanics were made to pray on people with gambling addictions, but they didn't change their opinion.

I didn't bother arguing with them because they're probably too ignorant to understand the significance, and it would be a waste of time anyway.

But yeah, if this is "the new norm" then I fucking hate it! What even the point of playing anymore if you constantly need to be online and have your credit-card hardwired to your phone at all times. Can't play a modern game without signing your life away first!

...This is why I stick to games pre 2010s, you just put the game in and press start.
