Could use some work, but if polished up this would be a fun endless game.
A small game where you fight shadow demons. The goal of the game is to fill the boss meter, which you do by killing demons. After that, you fight the boss. The game is small, but may be expanded upon in the future.
CONTROLS:
WASD - Move
Left click at an enemy to shoot.

Yet another "stay in one place and shoot enemies" game, but at least it has decent music, animations, and health pickups. A demon spawned right on top of me and killed me without any chance to fight back though.
Yeah, I'm working on fixing a lot of things, and I know the random location stuff is bullshit.
I want to like it but at the same time the game is junk... I mean I am not saying it's bad, well it's polished and it's having some good sound effects.
But like it doesn't have like a high score or at least your current score? I mean the whole point of it is to get a good score and you don't show me my score? 2 stars, sorry...
No problem. The game wasn't ever supposed to be anything special. I may update it in the future, thanks for the criticism.
Pretty well-made minigame, a pity it doesn't go any further.
– I like the little things that make playing the game feel good. The stretch on the gun when shooting, the sound effects, the clear contrasting colours. Love the sweating sprites when you lose health.
– There's no increase in difficulty, no new enemies, and hearts are plentiful, so you pretty much lose when you get bored
– How about a counter for enemies killed connected to a global scoreboard (https://www.newgrounds.io/)? It could prolong the lifetime of the game.
– After you die, you have to click on the “Start” button twice to restart. It first begins to play music, and then the second click loads the game.
– You can't shoot from a corner.
– Occasionally, dying enemies have a weird animation.
– The enemies may spawn right under you which depletes your health bar rather quickly before you move out
A fun little game, no doubt, but there's currently no reason to play it longer than a few minutes.
The new update is out, and almost all of these cons are now patched. I didn't put a global leaderboard system, but I did add something else ;)
