I used Toon Boon, student version 4.0. Yeah, the one made for Windows XP. What can I say, I'm retro.

I don't think I'm ever going to get that rubbery squish/squash animation I want, nor will my cartoon faces be finely articulated to express deep emotion. I'm lazy. Limited animation is hard, making a full blown fancy animation by oneself is probably considered "self harm."

I have no illusions of ever being a pro. Too old, too jaded. Again, too lazy.

Still, even though I'm a perpetual amateur, I like to experiment and play around. I'd kinda like to maybe, collaborate? Sure, collaborate with other animators in some way. Why not!
