I loved this game! The gameplay didn't take as long to get the hang of as i thought, and I was hooked on the story, especially considering how short the game is, which I think works in it's favor! Amazing job!

Thanks so much for playing! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it :D
good game, the layout made me think of plants vs zombies.
Thanks for playing! Plants Vs Zombies was one of the main inspirations :)
Good game. Cute art.
Suggestions:
-Please make the cards on the "current deck" moveable. So that you could change thier positions or drag them out of the deck.
-Add some special enemies which need a certain weapon to kill them, this'll add more gameplay complexity, which as the previous review states, is lacking
Thanks for playing, and your feedback! I really appreciate it!
I'll see about updating the deck-building screen, those are good suggestions, and honestly stuff that just got away from me during the jam period.
More enemy variety/strengths and weaknesses were definitely planned, and also cut as the deadline approached. But I'll consider working on that in an update too if there's enough interest!
Beautiful game! Amazing artwork and an interesting story to go along with it. The customisable deck, unlockable memories, and story really set it apart from your typical tower defence game.
The only real drawback for me is it didn't feel like much of a challenge. Most levels could be beat by placing a couple of glamour fountains and just spamming basic sentinels. I still tried out the other stuff, but it was more out of interest rather than a need to adapt.
That said, it was still a solid, enjoyable game. Really hoping for a sequel!
Thank you so much for playing, and the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the artwork, that was a good 75% of my time/effort for this one.
I agree the game balance is tipped to the easy side... being a 1-month game jam I unfortunately didn't get tons of time to play test it.
As for a sequel, Alice will certainly be back in future games, though if you look at my library you'll see I genre-hop a lot. But there are 6 other games in the series currently, perhaps there's another in there you might like!
Thanks again, I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know your thoughts about the game!
