My partner and I have been on an unabashed wordle kick and this game was born out of our desire to play more wordle! Full credit to Josh Wardle.
I figured it would be fun if you could play wordle more often, and it would be especially fun to have a timed mode with a leaderboard. As it's been several months since I have done any sort of game dev, I used this as an opportunity to do a few day long personal jam to shake the dust off and reacquaint myself with Godot.

Looks like there is a way of telling if a letter is used more than once? I guessed uvula (yes the letters I was left with were that horrible) and only the first of the two U's ended up yellow.

Yep, if you guess multiple letters it will show the second as not in the word(unless it is actually in the word !)

but please, for the love of hearing and eardrums, change the sound effect for typing. it's only in the left ear and it actually hurts it. like, I can feel the sound it makes. just listen to it once and you'll understand.
am I not joking at all, my left ear actually hurts really bad now. I only did 10 letters.
playing it more, it's not really your fault, but the nature of the game makes it extremely easy unless the word has 2 of the same letter. not sure what the solution is tbh
