Run Slick Run!
THIS GAME IS IN ALPHA
This is the first I've made and thus is the first version of the game, platforms will be adjusted in the given future. More content and mechanics will be coming out too. All you could do now is jump and wanted to see what the public thought of it so far.
CONTROLS
Keyboard
W/Up Key/Space = Jump
Tab = Pause
Xbox Controller
A = Jump
X = Pause
Update 1: Adjusted jumping, extended starter platformer

And please feel free to rate and tell me your opinions of the game in the comments. Last of all if you would like to participate in making the full version of the game it would be much appreciated. I want to make this the most old school, nostalgic game it could be.
It's not great, but there's plenty of potential here. Keep it up bud!
The game has a nice aesthetic, has an extremely simple gameplay, but that's because it's in its early version.
Something that could be tweaked, in my opinion, is the narrow window for jumping: it's really easy to bounce off the platforms.
I'd suggest a grab on the ledge mechanic, that slows you down but still saves you, and also a bit of control over the jump distance, maybe depending on how long the jump button is pressed.
Finally, a catchy tune would be the cherry on top!
I'm looking forward to how this will grow!
the game moves a little too slow and makes jumping from platform to platform harder than it should, and the jump is too "floaty". other than that, this game has a lot of potential and i can definitely see it going places, the visuals are very pretty and work well together, and the game itself is a great concept.
