Made in two weeks for a school assignment with the goal of eliciting EMOTION, The Last Dog is

a story-focused game about a homeless boy who meets his best friend dying in an alley.

In battle, you essentially play PONG with your self, bouncing the ball into the enemy to damage them whilst avoiding their attacks against your paddles.

Also, you can't beat the final boss. Sorry about that.

Overworld

• W / A / S / D - Move in the overworld
• Arrow Keys - Move in the overworld
• E / X - Advance text or interact

Battle

• W / S - Move the left paddle
• UP / DOWN - Mover the right paddle

I worked on this game alongside SomebodyXP for a uni project. It was fun teaching someone else how to use Gamemaker. I am really happy with the end product!
