The highly anticipated event is finally about to come to pass: the giant egg, which has long ago nestled itself in Flushing Meadows on a lawn near the Unisphere, is about to open. We were, frankly, beginning to doubt that it would ever open; we were in fact doubting that it was even an egg, and that its ovoid shape was merely a coincidence.
This short, which written and animated by me and voiced by Hearty White (he also did the sound editing), was made over the last six-seven months, mostly in secret. It came very close to being a throwaway project until Hearty agreed to voice, which in turn guaranteed its completion. Thank you, Hearty. I'm gunna be real, I didn't pay attention just being fascinated by the animation.
I'll watch it, again.
Wo, just wow. Felt mesmerized by the amazing work of the animation, and watched the entire video and found no disappointment in it. The dialogs were captivating and felt so natural, and the plot twist at the end felt even more shocking with the narration. Straight 5/5 stars.
My favorite part was the animation on the news reporter. The entire time there was always something moving with him; there was never any full pauses. Really good job! :)
