Look; it's not a bad idea, and I know this is a game jam. However a couple things,
1. It lacks any actual rhythm game mechanics besides the very first one, no jack hammer notes, complex patterns, no precise combo stuff just a simple combo system, I see this as a youngster trying his hand at figuring out how to make games which I can respect.
However; I'm not going to lie, nor am I going to be blunt, and straight to the point, try to soften the blow a little as it were.
I will say this; the key pressing aspect was programmed good! The music was good! The reply button thing was funny! The gameplay was meh.
Which puts this at a generous 2.5 out of 5 stars.
