This was done in Flash, yes. I restricted myself to the text tool to animate it. I have no doubt that there's probably a way to get the same effect with a different program, though. Thank you for your comment.
Pretty epic
I would have been impressed with this movie even if I'd encountered it outside the Clock Crew context. Every little piece of graphic and sound is as calculated and elaborate as a master gardener's topiary.
