This dialogue was based on an actual real life story between me and my friend Danny (the voice of the cowboy,and co-producer, of this project) from 20 years ago. It all started when I was writing a rap, and I said something a long the lines of “a jawbreaker, being harder than a petrified pickle” then like a week later, I was rapping my verse, and my friend Danny(who was working at a movie theater back then, ) said “ hey did I tell you?! I found a petrified pickle at work the other day, when I was cleaning behind the food counters! I of course was like “ No f’ing way! I love when absurd events like this happen! So fast forward 20 years later, when the pandemic first hit , and I’m here in Oregon and he was now in Boston Massachusetts , we decided to collaborate online and make a little cartoon, since we both had some extra time on our hands. He sent me his dialogue, with blanks in between the conversation, and I filled in the blanks with the bartenders randomness for fun! Hope you enjoy! I don’t know why I didn’t post this last summer! Oh and one more thing, the guy in the beginning standing to the left side of the bar, is Danny,
Really like the visuals here, they give a very bizarre vibe to it, almost as if it was a bumper found on Adult Swim very late at night.
The story here feels like a comic strip from a newspaper that would be short, but entertaining and enjoyable.
After reading the origin of this story, I can tell that both you and your friend have very bright and creative ideas- maybe you have more stories like this to tell here.
Overall 5/5 stars, you have lots of talent in storytelling and illustration.
