This is a short video game made for a university assessment. The main game consists of the first level/throne room.

After the main game is complete join Alf, the morally corrupt rogue elf on an exploration through the Demon King's castle. Meet and help a small array of weird and colourful characters on a backward adventure that breaks some the norms and conventions of typical adventure games. Slay the princess, steal from the demon king, feed a friendly slime and more in An Upside-Down Adventure!

Well-done, it's actually DIFFERENT compared to other RPG Maker stuff

You actually added new sprites, detailed dialogue, you properly credited ALL the people you borrowed these assets from, and you even made it fun to play. Have four stars, you earned it. Hope you pass your assessment.

CrystalBCU responds:

Hi Imao, thanks for your feedback and the four stars. The postgame stuff is the extra bits I was allowed to add, because I realise there would be the general public playing and fortunately my tutors/coordinators are fairly flexible. As long as it was clearly separated, it was fine to do. Fingers crossed that I do well, thanks again 😁

It's a very unique twist for an rpg genre.I like the 4th wall break of it, i hope it evolves into something better.I can't really judge it since it WAS made for an university project and it is actually well made, i enjoyed it a lot.Teached me about all the game's mechanics lol

CrystalBCU responds:

Hey Spook, thank you for the five stars! And thanks for mentioning the 4th wall, I thought that would be a neat trick to use in place of offering a customisable avatar (which is beyond my skill level). I am working on a much larger (not university related) project, maybe I'll incorporate some aspects based on feedback I get here. I'm glad you liked the game, and thanks again 😁
