Paisley confessed her feelings to Tama months ago, but has yet to receive an answer... So tonight, on Valentine's Day, she's going to try one more time. However, when Tama arrives at the park to meet her, she senses that something isn't right. Could it be the heavy Nightmare activity in the city tonight? Or is a more sinister plot unfolding?
(Created for Magical Girl Game Jam #3, Feb-Mar 2021! Themes: Entanglement, Energy)
"Entangled Hearts" can be played by itself. However, it is part 3 of Tama and Paisley's adventures. To play them in order:

Thanks for playing!
Very nice game. And are all of these in the same universe?
PD: i like the idea that all of these arent the same game with different story, but straight different games/game styles
Thanks so much for playing! All the games I've posted to NewGrounds are part of a series of sorts, but I'm experimenting with gameplay, artstyles, etc. to see what I enjoy working with the most. I have several more in the works that will be posted here when I have time to add medals and a few other updates!
omg really nice game no find secret medals :(
Thanks so much for playing!
I don't want to spoil the medals for anyone who wants to find them on their own, but I'll give a few hints... (Stop reading now if you don't want any hints!!) The first hidden medal can be achieved on the final phase of the "Number 21" boss battle, if you are careful. The second secret medal involves a complete play-through of the game... that's all I'm saying!
Say what you want about the series, but you can't say the developer isn't adventurous. That's 4 games in 4 totally different genres: a platformer, a Final Fantasy-like RPG, a choose your own adventure and now a side-scrolling beat'em up. This series is worth getting in to.
You've kind of nailed my goal, which is to try a lot of different styles and see what I enjoy making, and of course, what players enjoy playing!
I've got one more coming soon-ish... have some updates in mind for it before posting here, and some new music tracks in progress from the composer. I'll probably take a little break after that as I work on ideas for what's next. Thanks for sticking with the series! :)
