Fairly good! it's hard to get at first, but as sun4000 pointed out down below, it's actually fairly intuitive, but yeah, the texture for the coal is wayyyy too similar to that of iron.

Tutorial for begginners (in words)
-Your objective only to create swords and sell them

-Everything you need is in your inventory, and the pit with the grey stuff is coal for the furnace, which you must maintain alive to create swords.

-To actually make the swords, you need 5 iron ingots, which you get from buying them at the side of the monitor that gives you the orders (This is the monitor that says: "new order incoming". You have to interact with it to recieve a quantity of swords to make)

-Once you make the swords that the monitor asks you for, you go to the mechanical belt that says "delivery" and interact on it

I forgot to mention one thing. If you don't refuel the furnace with coal (which you get from the pit) it will die and you'll have to refuel it, put three coals on the furnace, then action the blower a few times.

This is the kind of game I love, it isn't impossible yet it requires some kind of technique and speed. I like the playability, graphics, controls, pretty much everything.

mid needs some instructions

a lot of people says it needs a tutorial, but i actually found the game does a pretty good job at making things clear enough to figure out by yourself, with 2 exceptions. Its very easy to confuse coal for ore, and its not exactly clear how re-igniting the furnace works.

My only other complaint, is that i wish there were more weapon types then just swords, otherwise, simple and nice game

The art is good, but it needs a tutorial and more variety in the gameplay, for example different weapon types or something, as it can get boring after a while.
