A difficult to control game made for my assessment, my second game ever. All art done by me! Still quite buggy and I do plan to come back to finish the game, give every enemy animations, sounds, soundtracks, more levels or perhaps even open world.
The duck is not an enemy kill it for attack speed upgrades
2 extra canon upgrades will appear during the game.
You're onto something but first it needs some polishing. The game is keyboard only so it would be much more convinient if there was a key for restarting the game instead of having to drag the mouse to the restart button. And there's the problem that there's no way to tell at first glance from which side of the boat the cannon balls are going to come out. A good fix for that is having an asymmetrical sprite or some sort of indicator.
Great for a 2nd game. It does get laggy and a bit braindead easy when you get all the cannon upgrades, so I would recommend adding more variation to the difficulty other than just spawning more enemies.
