Good catch! Yeah, I'm heavily influenced by 1960s cartoons, largely Jay Ward, but also Pink Panther, Gene Deitch (some of the sound effects came from Deitch cartoons), as well as old-school anime.
Wanted to be a newspaper cartoonist growing up. Loved "Mother Goose and Grimm" in particular
