Q-Vixel Itch.io page (HTML and Windows build)
Any support is welcomed
Q-Vixel is a procedural open world game where you explore your surroundings and discover how the world unveils itself while you are playing.
This game is somewhat experimental so it doesn't have much gameplay rather than taking and placing blocks.
• Controls are:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, num /, num *, num - = To change blocks
Q = To lock the camera in place
A W S D = To control the player movement
Moving the player to different directions by moving the camera
ESC = To go to the title menu
Tab = For an in-development first person camera(?)
Beware that THE GAME IS VERY HEAVY and WASN'T MEANT TO WORK ON A WEB BROWSER so you might experience some delay in the audio, the audio cutting, lag, etc.
SHOUTOUTS:
The music for the game was made by David Lin:
He is an awesome game music producer so big shoutouts to him

Also big shoutouts to OptIn (bbtarzan12) for helping me understand how voxels and procedural generation worked by providing his generation system for the project:

This was a fun experimental project I had been doing for some months and finally I get to share it with you all on Newgrounds and Itch.io.
Interesting and promising
poor optimalization
fuck
neat concept but i can't navigate properly
camera operates funkily and is really sensitive.
in no way smooth, but it isn't meant for web. so this is excusable.
i await development.
