This is a VERY early build of EverQuest for GameBoy.

Z = A Button

X = B Button

Enter = Start

Shift = Select

Immediate bug, when I fight the bat or mosquito, I start the battle with 1 hit point for some reason (meaning I die in the first round, no matter what I do). So, um, I know this is an early build but at least the fights you've coded so far should work before you release it. Even a limited build should be functional. I wish you the best on future development.

Edit: Thank you for responding. I went back into the game, just to make sure I wasn't hallucinating or something, and what I found is that if I go up and talk to the guards ("I guess it was a misunderstanding" and "Check out this sweet duck") and then I go down and fight one of the monsters (any of them as it turns out), my hp has dropped down to 01, and all I can do is either run away, or die after the first attack.

Very confused. It’s hard programmed into the game to start the battle at 25HP. Not sure where 1HP comes from. Do you mean after the battle you enter into another battle at whatever HP you were left at from the previous battle?

This build is far too early to be enjoyable to a complete stranger on Newgrounds.
Looks promising, but I can't give a good score until there's a single quest or dungeon.
