Controls are okay but not tight.
The level design has a lot of room to improve.
The hot tiles on the walls require that you stop repeatedly on two squares and it isn't even a properly introduced obstacle.

Introduction of the hot tiles was ok.
It could be improved by making an additional hot tile at the edge of the first pit to show that all sides of the hot tile give heat.

Respawn mechanic.
Checkpoints would have been nice ideally to benefit the game and player I would make it so that you activate the previous checkpoint when you get to a checkpoint. This makes it so that your players can't just get to the next checkpoint on a fluke.
You did however do really well when it came to the very start of the levels as there are no immediate threats and you can look at things a little bit before you start moving.

Artificial difficulty.
The hot tiles on the walls for the entire vertical portions is an example of artificial difficulty that actually takes away from the game.

Overall takeaway:
I think that the concept behind the game was really cool.
In the end from what I played however the only parts I actually had fun with was the first pit in the first level and the pilar jumps at the end of the first level.

Nice this game must pass.
