STORY

After an unseasonably warm spring, with weeks of extremely dry weather across the country, the water levels in Wolrisdon Reservoir have dropped to unprecedented levels. It used to be an old village, abandoned, to be purposefully flooded and turned into a reservoir. Now, the drought has revealed the historic village that stood there.

You're being sent to Wolrisdon to write about the old village, but upon arriving you discover a police presence, leading to the curious case of Elizabeth Beck.

Another fun adventure! I really like the art style of these games because it's so distinct from other point 'n click games. The scale of this game was much smaller compared to that of the previous game, but I think that this game's pacing benefited as a result. I only got stuck a couple of times, but there were no crazy leaps in logic, so it's okay.

This entry has more puzzles than any of the previous games, and I certainly wasn't expecting four puzzles back-to-back in the chateau. I only had an issue with the fourth puzzle (based on the rose thorns). Due to the nature of this art style, I thought that the thorns were difficult to make out, but it could just be me.

Other than that, I liked how after the spirit joins the party, we jump from location to location in a race to unravel the mystery surrounding her. I also liked how the spirit used its "abilities" to help the main character occasionally.

Looking forward to Episode 5!

not bad. Stuck at the three-letter combination near the mural though.
