That’s super awesome! I’m very pumped that people are connecting with Cloudy, and that people would be open to a sequel.
This is something I would play on my gameboy.
I could release a rom of the game on itch if you’d like.
I loved this game, reminded me of Kirby's Dream Land for the Gameboy, the characters are cute and I really liked the main character Cloudy, overall pretty amazing game 10/10!
Thank you very much! I’m very happy you liked it!
WOOOOOOOOOOOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWWOWWW.
amazing.
I’m super happy you enjoyed it! :D
Cute game, I like the over all aesthetic, simple but effective. Good for your first game jam or an early game of yours. One thing I did notice was that the second candy floss was still in the maze after it was collected and it repeated the scene of dialog with the Elder Sun. Also if it was a goal to make the theme of the game built around the words war zone and donut, I am not sure that it particularly reflects that. It felt like they were more name dropped than being a theme that is integrated into the gameplay.
Again I enjoyed the 8-bit charm you captured here, looking forward to your next project!
Thank you for telling me. The glitch has been patched. As for the limitation: the limitation just had to be incorporated into the game, not necessarily a mechanic.
